Beef Week 2016.

We took 4 bulls and 1 heifer into our local Casino Beef Week Celebration. Our 2 Junior bulls L27 & L13 one first and Second in their class and were close to 600kg at 13months of age. L27 went on to win Junior Champion  Bull against a very strong field of All Breeds Bulls.

Our 2 senior bulls K45 & K20 did very well and K45 ran 2nd in the strongest class of the day against 11 excellent senior bulls. The winner of that class was judged Grand Champion of the day.

Judge Mathew Spry commented "the Black Angus are bulls that are packed with commercial traits, have excellent muscling and are structurally sound terriffic bulls".

​

Congrats also to The Dwyers with Kaity's led steer picking up a 4th place ribbon, sired by one of our bulls he was a worthy ribbon winner.

Note that K45 and K20 are both in our sale draft for the Casino All Breeds sale 30/7/16.
